Reply:try fluidline by mac, they come in all colors (from shimmery golds to the darkest black ever) it%26#039;s a cream eyeliner that you can apply using a mac angled brush, or any angled brush of your choice. the great thing about fluidline is that you can control it much better than liquid eyeliner, you can control the thickness of the line. it does really last forever, i%26#039;ve had mine for months and months and i still have yet to finish it up.. worth every penny.. try it out..

if you want more of a liquid eyeliner, i recommend urban decay%26#039;s liquid eyeliner.. they have many pretty colors as well.. the only con is that the brush tends to damage and the hairs seperate and it becomes a mess after a long time of using it.. so maybe buying a seperate brush for liquid eyeliner will do justice..

cover girl is great.

i use a dark brown for eyeliner. it doesnt look like too much like some black eyeliner does but its just enough to make your eyes pop!

as eyeshadow, I usually use sort of a bronze eyeshadow and blends in nicely w/ my skin but it still against the Sun, it stands out and looks great and for Eyeliner, I use brown eyeliner and i draw a bit of it onto my fingertips and then put it on my eyes using my fingertips and it gives it a really nice just-got-out-of-bed look

So for a natural eye look, I would go with a brown eyeliner, and smudge it a little with your finger on the out side of your eye where they meet. and use a eye shadow thats close to your skin tone, and than if you wanna play it up a little, then add a sparkle or a light bit of glitter, and just get it on your finger tips and dot your eye lid with the glitter, than put on a very light coat of brown mascara, and that will look amazing!

just a tad of vaseline. lip gloss tends to make lips shiny/greasy, but vaseline makes them feel and look good. other wise just try a good conditioning chapstick like carmax. everyone uses it b/c it actually works. so i would reccomend the carmax or vaseline which everone works better for you. good luck

Reply:Nude and light colours makes lips look smaller as will less shiny lip glosses (ie not sparkly), so go for that. A way to make them really look smaller is to apply foundation or a nude lip pencil to the edges of your lips and when you fill your lips with colour/gloss, stop right before you get to the edges of your lips.

I have big lips too but hey its a lot better than thin ones. They have lip plumping products everywhere but you never hear of lip shrinking products do you, so big lips are great

Reply:big lips are SEXY, why else would so many people be scooping up lip plumping products? but anyways any lips can look bad if you apply too much gloss, stick with the minimalist approach and go easy with the gloss, you could also try nude lipsticks or fill in your lips with a liner and apply a light coat of gloss. but embrace your lips cuz when it comes to them big is beautiful!

Nail polish remover? Though thats probably not gonna work either. Try buffing the surface of your nails so maybe the colour will be less intense.

I have both! I bought the green one first and I love love how it looks on my teeny tiny lashes. So i got the pink one but i didn%26#039;t like it as much as the green one. The difference is in the brushes and obviously the formula used. As you already know the green tube has a bendy, soft brush. But the pink tube has a more sturdier( harder) one. I honestly prefer the green one because it works great for me.

It all depends on what you like and what works for you.

Hope that helped!! Even if you do buy it, you won%26#039;t spend so much money if you don%26#039;t like it because they are not that expensive :D That%26#039;s how i look at it anyways.

Reply:lavander brings out brown eyes. u actually kinda look like me lol. go to the clinique counter at one of ur carson piere scott places and they have makeup professionals that do your eyes for u so u see how it works and they have good advice on whats best for u. u have to buy something tho if they give u a makeover. its a bit expensive but its quality and then u have the general idea of what to get in the future

Their thin lipsticks can%26#039;t remember what they are called are very similar to MAC Slimshines. The Mark stuff is nice and they have some new skincare products that are nice and very cheap. Reply:I would say go for the all natural look. Maybe add a little color to your lips, a bit of lipgloss. You could even use some light pink eye shadow, or even white eye shadow. Don%26#039;t use too much though. I would suggest using a bit of Maybelline New York mascara, it would look great. You could use a bit of eyeliner, but not a lot.

Before putting your makeup on;; you could put on Clean and Clear Maximum Strength Invisible Blemish treatment. It goes on in the morning and stays on all day. You can put makeup on over it. It helps prevent breakouts.

Make sure you wipe all your makeup off before bedtime!

I have been using MAC studio fix for over five years, but since I moved to England my skin tone has got lighter, when I go to the MAC counters in London, the make up artists are just so rude, they never help me, they always say: that color is fine, you can%26#039;t go lighter! and is obvious that my skin color is paler so when i applied the C4 it looks darker than my chest/arms. I tried Laura Mercier%26#039;s foundation powder 5 and is exactly what i was looking for, the only problem is that I have one foundation powder from MAC that I want to exchange or return, and in order to do it, I need your help, which color in MAC do you think is the same as 5 Laura Mercier powder foundation?

Sorry, I don%26#039;t know but you should speak to a manager at the counter ... that is ridiculous! You can definitely do lighter than C4, they have C3 and C2!! Pale foundation???
Bobbi brown, their porcelain foundation is fab i am super pale and it works for me. Their alabaster, whic is paler still has an oriental tone so i would try the porcelain.

I can%26#039;t imagine how much money I%26#039;ve wasted over the years trying to find the right shade. It is a mineral make up, but they offer it in a pressed(awesome if you have oily skin) form as well as in a loose powder. I put mine on with one of their flocked sponges for a dense coverage, but if you don%26#039;t normally wear make up iI would suggest using a brush. It feel like you are wearing nothing! I don%26#039;t mean to rave about it but it is the best stuff I have ever used! Reply:They will all look clumpy if you don%26#039;t wipe off some of the mascara from the brush as too much comes out on the brush. I use a tissue and wipe off a lot from the brush. It seems a waste but it%26#039;s either that or have silly looking eye lashes. I like Boots No 7 Stay perfect. I think it%26#039;s called. Or Estee Lauder, the new one that stays on a long time called Double wear. I%26#039;ve tried them all from Chanel to YSL and Estee Lauder always looks best. I used Clinique one ages ago that was nice but I forget what it was called.

Reply:I%26#039;ve never heard of putting cream on before the tanner. You usually want to exfoliate in the shower right before, and then put the self tanner on right after you dry off.

To get it off, you can use an exfoilater, and it should come off within a couple of days.

make sure you exfoliate. get a mitt from wally mart or make a scrub with some sugar and water(or lotion).

Why is your face peeling? Sunburn? The only advice I can give you is to wash your face really good with a washcloth. Sometimes giving your face a good rub with a washcloth will help rub the dead skin off. After you are done, use a good lotion. Hope this helps! Congradulations!

If you can afford it, go to a salon to getting a hydrating facial. Otherwise, try using a thick moisturizor. Try using an overnight face cream all over your face. They are always super rich.

To make a crying photo whats i did was put on masara and eyeliner [NOTWATERPROOF] and take a Q-tip of just a wet peice of toilet papaer and but a few drops on each eye. squeeze tight and it shoudl work. and i dont know what %26quot;tearstick%26quot; your talking abut.

I%26#039;m just kind of bored with my makeup routine, and I would like to play up my features, while toning down my problems. I have a somewhat diamond shaped face (My forehead is small, and my jaw is pointy and I have high cheekbones, but my face is somewhat narrow). I would say my biggest problem is my jaw- my chin is sort of long, and I%26#039;ve always been self conscious about it.

I would say my best feature is my eyes. I have rather large, well shaped almond eyes and pretty thick lashes. My eyes are a medium brown and my hair is brown.

Since you have darker hair, somewhat darker make-up would be okay for you.

I would say some black or blue eyeliner from Revlon ColorStay (that%26#039;s a really good brand, and cheap too!)

Maybe blue on top, black on bottom, small black wing, just small enough for everyone to see. Black mascara would be good too.

Also from Revlon ColorStay they have this lipgloss type thing. Check out the link, they have a BUNCH of colors:

But if you want to look more natural, i would go with the %26quot;Timeless Nude%26quot;, i use it every day. On the other side of the container, it has a clear lip gloss that you can put on over the colored side.

I would go with a sparkly gold eyeshadow, but not too sparkly, just a little bit.

Then voila! there%26#039;s your new look!

Im going to be doing lots of traveling this summer, so Im thinking im going to need a makeup bag to carry my makeup in and keep it protected.

Im think im going to get one of the mac softsac bags, becuase some of them are in really cute, neon colors.

I havent seen the inside of one though. Whats it like? Does it have a special lining, or pockets for my makeup? Basically, is it worth my money? Thanks!

From what I remember theres not much special about the soft sacs other than they are soooo totally cute I dont see why you will spend more than what you need to, theres no separate compartments. I love MAC but I wouldnt waste my money.

Reply:if you are young make up is bad for your skin so you shouldn%26#039;t wear foundation also you will be hot while dancing and foundation will melt off your face.

my advice would be a nice sparkly eyeshadow especially at night, maybe a small bit of black eyeliner and mascara and a slick of lipgloss will do the trick.

remember to bring tissues in case your eye make up is smudged and bring your tube of lipgloss.

Reply:keep it simple. you want fresh, too heavy for you would look like you were trying to be older than you are. brush and trim brows, conceal lightly any blemishes, pink blush, translucent face powder, mascara, and a light tinted lip color...just my opinion.
Reply:Applying eyeliner takes a lot of practice and technique.

I recommend you use a pink blush on the apples of your cheeks (the part of your cheeks that gets round when you smile), shimmery gold eyeshadow, mascara (waterproof would be the best) and a pink lip gloss.

Experiment with different makeup looks before the party to see what colors, thickness of mascara, etc...look best.

I%26#039;m not Indian but I know that Virgin Vie do a pink version and a yellowy version of their shades. I use the pink as it suits my skin tone.

Clarins don%26#039;t do the pink. All of theirs seem to have a yellow base. I quite like their stuff but it is expensive.

Virgin Vie will let you have a sample and most of the make-up counters in Boots and Debenhams will do you a free consultation so that you can see what suits your skins and see how it reacts with your skin before you buy it.

Reply:I don%26#039;t know if they do a yellow based foundation, but I%26#039;m half bengali, and one of my friends is indian, and another afghan, and we%26#039;re all using Elizabeth Ardens compact creme foundation at the moment. If you go into a department store, they will use a machine to tell you which shade would be best suited to your skin tone. I definatly recommend you try it. Pre-made waxing strips?

Like a year ago I had this box from I think Sally something brand and it had clear strips that already had wax on them. All you had to do was heat them by running them under hot water then peel the strip and stick it on your upper lip. Then of course wait then wax it it off. Anyway I recently ran out, and I can%26#039;t find more? So have they been discontinued or is there another product like this somewhere?

Well actually, there are kinda that you dont need to run under water at al! you can just peel it, put it on the part you want to wax, then pull. yes there are more kinds such as Veet, Andrea. Nair, and more. if you go to almost any plaza or mall you%26#039;ll find different brands of pre-made waxing strips. i once had a problem with them on my face...haha

i would go to a makeup counter at the mall. Try the estee lauder counter it%26#039;s a bit pricey but their foundation is wonderful (the best) for eyeshadow I would go with MAC

To find out what makeup shade and eyeshadow colors would work for you....... you should go to Sephora and they will help you find everything you need. It might be a bit pricey (but it depends on the brand you get)
Reply:I like the mineral makeup best.. the powder really covers up enough that you dont even need foundation, bare minerals bare essentials is good I used that for a while, but now I use Micabella they have a much larger variety of eye shadows and stuff like that... check out the link below

Mix a shimmery powder or eyeshadow with your powder foundation, the glitter will make you look awake.

You should also use an eyebag concealer =D.

Have you tried bare minerals? I%26#039;m 24 and I have really bad crows feet, I put on the bare minerals line and I look and feel like a million bucks. It dosn%26#039;t feel heavy and you don%26#039;t get oily either. I%26#039;m not sure if you have a store called ulta by you but they have their own line of the bare minerals and it works just the same at a fraction of the price. And with gas prices the way they are I don%26#039;t mind saving money any where I can.

Reply:Ditto Bare Minerals by Bare Essentials! It%26#039;s matte for good coverage but has a little reflective stuff in it to make your skin glow. Use a pretty pink or peach blusher too. Either one will perk up your skin and make you look more awake.

I would get the bare minerals black eyeshadow and get a eyeliner brush and just wet the brush with water and dip into the eyeshadow and apply. Works great!

I would do a light coat of black mascara, a light touch of pink eyeshadow, some blush, and a light lipgloss. At your age, you don%26#039;t need a lot of makeup. Girls don%26#039;t realize that make up should enhance who you are and what you have, not change you into someone else.
